Running back: Aaron Jones, Tyler Ervin, AJ Dillon Marc-Antoine Dequoy, a free safety from Montreal, is an intriguing prospect that has some impressive numbers in the "relative athletic score" department. Burks and Adams simply haven't developed enough. Taylor (nearly $6 million in salary) is an expensive keep for someone who appears to be the odd man out. Kumerow simply wasn't enough of a difference maker and would be an easy choice to subtract, particularly if the club adds another receiver as they would in my scenario. Players such as Jake Kumerow, Lane Taylor, Oren Burks, Montravius Adams and Alex Light also get cut. Other cuts include Lane Taylor and Montravius Adams Specifically, I'm hoping this money can be used to sign former Lions defensive lineman Damon "Snacks" Harrison and former Bears wide receiver Taylor Gabriel. So I've got a list of 51 names on my roster, leaving me $15.2 available to spend underneath the cap. To make this as realistic as possible, I want to allow for the Packers to pick up a couple more free agents to shore up the roster. Many people expressed major fears of Project Altis being shut down, or even worse, Disney might see the private servers as a threat to their creative work leading to the potential end of Toontown itself. While a lot of people bashed this idea because it could cause the risk of every other private server being shut down, some people like Megasnoop (another Toontown YouTuber) defended the idea, claiming it might attract more players/revenue/popularity. He also stated that there was a Mac port when a Mac port didn't exist yet. The worst issue was that on March 29, 2017, Dubito, under the name of "Dubit" on Steam, decided to submit the game on Steam Greenlight likely as in an attempt to get more players. As seen from screenshots, Project Altis's Steam page consisted of LoopyGoopyG (a Toontown YouTuber)'s portrait, some random videos, and screenshots that were stolen from YouTubers and from within the game. Dubito, as one of the major directors, was infamous for ignoring his fellow staff members, thinking he can do everything on his own, and he was known for shrugging off everything that tries to get in his way. Dubito had the audacity to submit the game to a gaming convention called Insomnia60 but was later rejected. As the hackers continued to roam on the server, it was because that Dubito refused to give out any server details to the other staff. Dubito was the main server owner of the Toontown private server called Project Altis. One of those issues including failing to patch hackers' exploits, and other malicious material like that. Unlike the other private servers, Project Altis's goal was to provide new original and custom content, such as additional species, and new gags (attacks in Toontown). Traditionally, this cake consists of three or four cake layers filled with whipped cream and cherry filling and is decorated with more whipped cream, cherries, and chocolate shavings. The sugar stabilizes the whipped cream frosting and is therefore known as stabilized whipped cream. It's just whipping cream whipped until soft peaks form, then sugar is added and whipped until stiff peaks form. So that the cake stays in shape for days and the cake layers don't slide off, you need to make stabilized whipped cream. For a kid-friendly version, use cherry juice instead. The original recipe uses Kirschwasser, a transparent brandy made from Morello cherries, but any cherry liqueur, rum, or brandy will work just as well if you don't have Kirsch available. You can use cherry pie filling if you like, but it will taste completely different. The best substitute for canned sour cherries and canned cherry water is to use fresh or frozen (must be thawed beforehand) cherries and cherry juice. If you prefer maraschino cherries, black cherries, or sweet cherries in heavy syrup, keep in mind that the cherry filling will be much sweeter and taste different than the original recipe. The water is being used to make the cherry syrup. You'll need pitted sour cherries (Morello cherries) or red tart cherries in water. But this is not a common practice with this recipe and I advise against it. So if you swap the dutch-processed cocoa powder for natural cocoa powder, you end up with flat cake layers unless you swap parts of the baking powder for baking soda. Dutch-processed cocoa powder needs baking powder to react in your baked goods and natural cocoa powder needs baking soda to react and make your baked goods rise. I don't recommend using natural cocoa powder. So if you read an original German baking recipe that mentions cocoa, then dutch-processed cocoa is what they are usually talking about. Natural cocoa powder is not available everywhere. You need dutch-processed cocoa powder because in Europe this is the type of cocoa you can get in any store. It makes sense that the chocolate cake layers of a traditional German Black Forest cake are less moist and soft because they are soaked with cherry syrup. If you use regular American chocolate cake layers, the whole cake will end up soggy and fall apart after a short time. So it's very different from regular American chocolate cake, which is soft and moist (in German-speaking countries, cakes tend to be drier than their American counterparts). The authentic cake recipe uses chocolate sponge layers made with a high amount of eggs, very little to no fat, and no other wet ingredients such as milk, buttermilk, sour cream, etc. In Germany, festively decorated layer cakes filled with frosting are all referred to as torte. Since this recipe comes from Germany, it is a torte (the German word for cake). Torte and gateau translate as cake but are used differently depending on the origin of the cake recipe or the preparation of the cake layers. In American and British English, you will most often hear the term Black Forest cake followed by Black Forest gateau. The taste can be described as richly chocolaty from the dark cocoa powder used in the sponges while still being tart from using tart cherries. The whipped cream frosting gives it a light mouthfeel. It's known for its chocolate sponge cake layers and whipped cream topped with tart cherries to give it a distinct sweet-tart flavor profile. What is Black Forest Cake (Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte)?īlack Forest Cherry Cake, or Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte as it is called in German, is a traditional German multi-layered chocolate and cherry torte that was first created in the Black Forest region of Germany.
XML, short for "eXtensible Markup Language," was published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) in 1998 to meet the challenges of large-scale electronic publishing. Let's take a closer look at the purpose and history of this language below. This makes the file easier for humans to read, and does not affect how computers process the code. The beginning and end of each element are represented by a starting tag (e.g., "") and a closing tag (e.g., "") respectively.Īlso, you’ll often see XML code formatted such that each level of element is indented, as is true in our example. Each "student" element contains the elements "firstName," "lastName," "scores," etc. In the example above, "studentsList" is the root element. The topmost element is called the "root" element, and contains all other elements, which are called "child" elements. In an XML file, elements are arranged in a hierarchy, which means that elements can contain other elements. XML HierarchyĮach instance of an XML tag is called an element. Tags aren’t supposed to be seen by users, only the software itself. Each tag represents a type of data, like "first name," "last name," or "score," and tells the computer what to do with the plain text data inside of it. While plain text represents the data, tags indicate what the data is. In this example, the XML is storing student names as well as test scores associated with each student. Plain text is the actual data being stored. The plain text is shown in black and the tags are shown in green. You can also click here to view the file directly in your browser.Īs you can see, this file consists of plain text and tags. Let’s look at a basic example of an XML file below. It contains tags that define not only how the document should be structured but also how it should be stored and transported over the internet. Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of StalingradĪnother WW2-based title, Red Orchestra 2 is one of the best war-based video games centering around the Battle of Stalingrad. Namely, The Battle for Moscow, The Invasion of Normandy, the Battle of Tunisia, and the Battle of Berlin. Matches are fought across four campaigns based on real-world battles. Infantry squads, tank crews, and aircraft fight each other on massive battlefields that can potentially host hundreds of soldiers at once, including bots. In addition, you can also recruit new specialists to bolster your forces. Though squads are fairly basic at first, they can be upgraded with better equipment over the course of the game. You can only control one of these soldiers directly (with the rest being controlled by AI) but can switch between them at any time. Each with their own unique specializations and weapons. Unlisted gives you command over a squad of anywhere between 4 and 9 soldiers. However, the main focus this time around is on the infantry.
